Niki Kerameus

BIOGRAPHY

Niki Kerameus currently serves as the Minister of the Interior of the Hellenic Republic (Greece). She has been a Member of Parliament with New Democracy since January 2015 and served as Minister of Education and Religious Affairs between 2019 and 2023. She is a lawyer with over 15 years of work experience and a member of the Athens and New York Bar Associations, having studied in France (Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas) and the United States (Harvard Law School).
She has been particularly involved in community service through DESMOS, a non-profit foundation of which she is a founding member and first president. She has been awarded for her pro bono legal services to homeless groups in New York City.
