Vassilis Kafatos

BIOGRAPHY

Vassilis Kafatos (Equity Partner & member of the Executive Committee) is Deloitte 
Greece Growth Leader and President of the Deloitte Competence Center. He 
specializes in corporate & digital strategy, innovation, business model transformation, financial management and mergers & acquisitions. 

  

Vassilis has over 25 years of advisory experience in various sectors including travel, 
hospitality, shipping, ports, investment management, consumer business and 
manufacturing.  He serves as Trustee of the Board of Anatolia College, as Vice President of the American – Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, as Vice President of the Federation of Industries of Greece, as President of the Advisory Board of the Council on Competitiveness 
of Greece, and as member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the 
Museum of Macedonian Struggle. 

  

He holds a degree in Economic Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MBA in Corporate Strategy from the University of Texas at Austin and postgraduate diplomas in Business 
Leadership from IMD (Institute for Management Development), Lausanne.
