Jonathan Beard

BIOGRAPHY

Jonathan is a Partner in EY’s Infrastructure Advisory Team with more than 25 years’ consultancy experience in the transport sector covering: strategic masterplans; decarbonisation and sustainability; mergers and acquisitions; public-private partnerships; competition and regulation.
His work has spanned projects in over 25 countries, advising leading airports, ports and operators, guiding the master-planning for some of the world’s largest ports, notably Shanghai, Klang, Hong Kong and Singapore, and consulting on major transactions, including for China Merchants, CMA CGM, Hutchison, PSA, ICTSI, Navis, Invesco, DPW, COSCO and Goodman.
In addition to major corporates, Jonathan’s client portfolio includes national and local governments and related authorities, sovereign wealth funds, multinational development banks and overseas aid agencies.
He holds a BA, MA and PhD from Cambridge University, and is a Certified Management Consultant (ICMCI).
