BIOGRAPHY

Shawn Dehpanah has a stellar 30+ year career in technology and investment. Starting the career in Silicon Valley as a software engineer and product development before transitioning to business development roles at firmly established multinational companies (e.g. Samsung Semiconductor, Hitachi, Panasonic, Alta Vista, etc.). Moving onto as an Investor at various software and semiconductor startups, with multinational operations in APAC, South America, and Europe.
For the past 6+ years Dehpanah has been EVP of Corporate Innovation & Investment for Plug and Play APAC, launching and building the operation from the start to today’s well-established leader across 6 countries in the APAC innovation ecosystem. Shawn has operated as a senior executive in Asia since early 90’s both living and operating from the region, this includes; leading all business development and new product launches for several conglomerates such as Panasonic, Hitachi Electronics, and Samsung. As well as a venture backed Semiconductor company in the Philippines as the President and CEO, he was responsible for all business and finance operations of this deep tech startup.
