Yann Gillet

BIOGRAPHY

Yann Gillet is General Manager for One&Only Aesthesis, an ultra-luxury beachfront resort tucked away in a legendary hideaway on the dramatic Glyfada seafront on the Athens Riviera in Greece. Yann is responsible for the operation, guest experience and strategy for the resort and Private Homes as the brand continues to curate exceptional places and experiences.
Described by his colleagues as a charismatic, passionate, and innovative hotelier, Yann’s global outlook is moulded by decades of experience in diverse destinations across Europe, Maghreb, Saudi Arabia, India, and Brazil.
Yann’s fondness for life’s finer things remains present in his work; he continues to innovate, redefines digitally led offerings in the hospitality world, and elevates the brand’s positioning while motivating those around him with his obsession for delivering a well-rounded, luxurious experience.
Bringing his experience of over 20 years in hospitality leadership roles, prior to joining One&Only Aesthesis, Yann led the team at Hotel Martinez in Cannes, France (part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt). Yann’s consistent delivery of entrepreneurial initiatives and long-term strategic visions can be seen across the impressive collection of luxury properties steered under his guidance, including Grand Hyatt São Paulo, Hyatt Regency Paris – Charles de Gaulle, Park Hyatt Chennai, Park Hyatt Johannesburg and Hyatt Regency Casablanca.
Following a brief tryst with law school for two years, he pursued his passion for hospitality, quickly rising to his global hospitality business leader position. A French national, Yann graduated from Paris Hotel School with a degree in Hospitality Management, a master’s degree in Hotel Administration from the Hotel Management School of Strasbourg, and an MBA in Finance from the Sorbonne University of Paris.
Yann enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle, and his hobbies include running and water sports.
